Our mission is to build a global platform where
software engineers can reach their full potential.
Findy is not just another recruiting service. We’re creating an end-to-end ecosystem that nurtures individual careers, elevates engineering teams, and accelerates innovation.
No one has yet taken on this challenge at scale in Japan, even as the rest of the world races ahead. If Japan is to remain a technology leader, we must unlock the talent that powers it.
We’re looking for people who share that conviction—teammates eager to build a platform that empowers engineers and re-energizes Japan’s tech future.
If that sounds like you, let’s talk.
Findy is building a platform for software engineers who drive change, grounded in the belief that empowering those who create is key to shaping a better, more prosperous world.
By 2030, Japan is expected to face a shortage of up to 790,000 engineers.
To tackle this challenge, Findy is striving to further expand its business.
Findy started with just two members in 2016 and has grown into an organization of 300 people by 2024.
Hear from our team members about what brought them here, how they work, and what motivates them day to day. You’ll get a closer look at our roles, culture, and values. It’s an inside perspective you won’t get from a job listing.
At Findy, we offer casual conversations before starting the formal interview process.
What we value most—regardless of role—is taking the time to align on values and working styles. We’d love to casually share what kind of platform we’re building, how we work day to day, and what our team culture is like.
As of October 2024, the gender ratio among our approximately 300 full-time employees is around 60% male and 40% female.
The average age of our full-time employees is 31 (as of October 2024).
Yes, many of our members, including the CEO, are raising children. We provide a supportive environment where both men and women can take parental or maternity leave.
In-office or remote work policies are determined by each business unit. Individual circumstances such as family responsibilities, existing health conditions, and other personal situations are also taken into consideration.
Yes, we host various events both in our home office event space and at external venues. One example is “Findy-Night,” a monthly, optional social gathering where employees can meet new team members and invite potential candidates interested in joining Findy. We also hold “Welcome to Findy,” an event that helps new employees connect with the leadership team. Additionally, we organize a semiannual company-wide event called “Fine-Day,” where we celebrate our team by presenting awards such as the MVP and Value Awards.
As of now, we offer the following benefits and plan to review and update them as needed in the future:
・Full social insurance coverage (health insurance, welfare pension, employment insurance, workers’ compensation)
・Meal compensations to meet with managers
・Support for programming education
・Business and technology training
・Subsidies for external training programs
Employees receive 10 days of paid leave after six months of continuous employment, provided they have worked at least 80% of scheduled days.
To support work-life balance from the start, 5 of those 10 days are granted in advance on the employee’s start date.
The probationary period is three months. There is no difference in terms and conditions during or after the probationary period. ※It may be extended up to a maximum of six months.
We set goals twice a year based on two key areas: performance evaluation (quantitative) and value evaluation (qualitative). In addition, we place importance on building mutual understanding through 1-on-1 meetings between managers and members to ensure clarity and alignment.
Salaries are paid on the 25th of each month. If the 25th falls on a holiday, payment is made on the previous business day. Each paycheck covers work performed through the end of the prior month.
Yes, side jobs are permitted for all employees (full-time, contract, part-time, and temporary), provided a prior application is submitted and the following conditions are met:
・The side job must not involve working for a competitor (non-compete clause).
・The work must be based on a freelance or contract arrangement (employment contracts with other companies are not allowed to avoid dual employment).
The monthly salary includes 45 hours of fixed overtime pay.
Our work is guided by five core values, with the most important one being "proactivity."
At Findy, we live by five key values (see details [here]). Here are some examples of how these values are expressed across teams at Findy.
・Proactivity: Our engineering team refers to technical debt as “room for growth,” embracing challenges with a positive mindset.
・Sincerity: We have a unique team built around the concept of “User Success,” dedicated to supporting the career growth of the registrants that use our career search platform, Findy. We never push unnecessary job changes and focus on providing truly valuable information during career consultations.
・Teamwork: Since most of our users and clients are engineers, everyone at the company actively learns about engineering. Our engineers, in turn, show strong interest in the business side—creating a culture of mutual respect.
・Speed: We strive for “explosively fast value delivery,” such as responding to user inquiries within four hours.
・No.1: Our engineers create an average of 3–4 pull requests per day per person
—among the highest productivity levels in Japan.
Not necessarily. However, a strong interest in technology and startups is preferred. You can build your knowledge through on-the-job training or by studying with resources like programming schools or Progate (we offer support for programming training). Many of our successful team members come from non-tech backgrounds.
Our team members come from a wide range of industries, including IT, HR, bridal, real estate, education, and consulting.
People who are open-minded, willing to learn and embrace new things, and those who embody Findy's five core values tend to excel within the company.
Yes. Some members have moved from customer success to roles in sales, marketing, or engineering. We support career development through regular 1-on-1 meetings, aligning individual goals with organizational needs.
